Friday Afternoon Trip Around the Blogs
Harvey is quite annoyed because the posts he's finding at Bonfire of the Vanities DON'T suck pond water. It's okay Harvey, I submitted my useless post from yesterday - so next week there will be at least one REALLY BAD one!
I know I'm a bit late, but yesterday Blackfive had a post about Laura Bush visiting the military spouses. I have always admired Mrs. Bush - she is a tremendous First Lady and I would love to meet her one day. There aren't too many people I would say that about.
Darren Kaplan is skeptical of the claims by "the Brigade of Abu Hafs al-Masri" being responsible for the Madrid bombings. Apparently MEMRI agrees.
Jen Martinez has a post about God and the Soldier. Amen!

Speaking of smiling - the party rages on unabated at Madfish Willie's. Comments are up to 163 as I look in.
But Susie wants to move the party elsewhere as she's feeling a bit overcrowded.
Over at Oh That Liberal Media - they have the temerity to suggest that people need to take responsibility for themselves! The more I read it, the more I love that site!

to the initial problem. Oh Dell!!! Can you hear him now??? (not to mention understand him)
Today is the day for Serenity to have her surgery for the broken ankle. I'm thinking it's about time that SOMETHING goes right for her. So, may it be a very successful surgery with a quick recovery.
Oh Wow! I just found out that it's Beth's birthday today. Happy Birthday!!! I hope it's a lovely day for you!

Last of all. Over at Blogs for Bush, Mark Noonan has linked to a story at Real Clear Politics about how the news media appear to be ignoring their own polls when the numbers don't suit them. Is anyone the least bit surprised? Didn't think so.
It just amazes me that of all the garbage & idle filler I heard on the radio news programs *cough*NPR*cough*, I never heard a single peep about the Laura Bush visit.
Nope, no bias here.
